Community propane systems allow homeowners to enjoy the benefits and convenience of gas service to their home. When natural gas is not an option due to costs associated with proximity or topographical constraints, a community propane system is the solution.
The system works by providing underground storage of propane at a centralized location and then distributed to households via underground pipelines. As with natural gas, a homeowner is then billed monthly for their gas usage. A centralized system improves both the aesthetics and safety of each household by removing the unsightly "back yard" tank typically associated with propane usage.
Community Propane Systems are Safe and Reliable
To ensure safety and reliability, Modus Propane implements the Gas Appliance System Check program. GAS Check provides documentation of home installed items concurrent with a safety walk-thru with homeowners. Workers are trained through the Certified Employees Training Program (CETP) and systems are engineered and inspected by licensed professionals. Drivers are qualified by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Modus Propane, and its community propane systems, comply fully with all rules and regulations set forth by the Texas Railroad Commission (RCC).
